Welcome to the Hopeman Lodge website.

What is Hopeman Lodge?
It is our home and also our family owned and run business, offering three self-catering, self-contained holiday apartments on the top floor of the house, furnished to Tourist Board Grade 2 Star standard (awarded July 03). We are situated in the coastal village of Hopeman, next to the golf course. If you want a peaceful, relaxing escape from the rat-race and the appliances and devices of modern life, this might suit you! However we do have wireless broadband if you need to catch up!

Hopeman Lodge is a large, three storey high old house with panoramic views overlooking the Moray Firth situated in 8 acres of grounds that run down to a small, beautiful and clean sandy beach. If you are looking for a simple, unsophisticated holiday - bucket and spade, cycling, walking, bird watching - then this will suit you! The village is 6 miles north of Elgin on the coast of the Moray Firth, and is 3 minutes' drive from Gordonstoun School. Hopeman is situated between the RAF bases of Kinloss (7 miles) and Lossiemouth (4 miles).

We have three spacious self contained flats to let. The 2 bedroomed flats each have 2 large bedrooms, a sitting room cum dining room with a kitchenette off it, and a bathroom with a bath. The one bedroomed flat has the same facilities with one double bedded room, and has a sofabed in the sitting room if required; it has a shower room.
The rooms have high ceilings, original wooden floorboards that we have just stripped, sanded and polished, original solid wooden doors and large windows.

Bedlinen and towels are provided.
Pets may come by prior arrangement; one pet per family only, and should be well-behaved and house trained, please (as should the children!). A surcharge of £10 per week will apply due to the higher cleaning costs involved. Dogs should not be left unattended in the house as we have found that they tend to scratch the varnish off the doors! Please bring a cage for them to sleep in.

Please note that smoking inside the house is not permitted for insurance purposes.
